80TH BIRTHDAY OF THE NORTH AMERICAN SNJ/AT-6 TEXAN
The Commemorative Air Force Southern California Wing at Camarillo Airport will conduct a presentation about this venerable aircraft and celebrate the 80th birthday of two SNJs in the CAF SoCal stable who rolled off the North American plant in 1943 and are still workhorses today.
The Pilot Maker! One of the most successful, well-known, and revered military training aircraft of all time is the North American SNJ / AT-6 Texan. The predominant advanced trainer of its day, the SNJ laid the foundation for the massive aerial armadas of World War II and the post-war years leading up to the jet age.
Weather, operations, and maintenance permitting, CAF SoCal will also fly one of their warbirds for you. After the event, their docents will be available to answer questions about the exhibits and offer guided tours of their museum. Light refreshments will be available during the event. Don’t forget to ask about their Warbird Ride Program. Experience what it was like to fly in a Warbird back in the day.

ANNUAL CREEK CLEANUP
Join the City of Agoura Hills Annual Creek Cleanup. Each year, hundreds of community volunteers join together to remove debris from our inland waterways. Come for an hour or stay for three; every bit helps. Bring a hat, gloves, sunscreen, and water. Trash bags will be provided. Students who participate will earn community service hours. You will need to sign a waiver to participate, and everyone under 18 years will require a parent’s signature to volunteer.

The Pepperdine Worship Summit returns this year for another powerful evening of Christ-centered worship and fellowship! Join the Pepperdine community as we come together with open hearts before the Lord to glorify his name and sing his praises.

Please join us for this free community event where you and your family can hang out with our local heroes of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office (SWAT, Search and Rescue, K9, Mounted, and so many more!). We have bouncy obstacle courses, popsicles, coloring contests, fly-overs from our VCSO air support, and so much more! Kid print-free children’s ID cards will be on site.
