She is both easygoing and rigorous at the same time, a tough balancing act. Her students are challenged to take ownership of their math skills, and they are inspired to take increased personal responsibility of their learning. She holds the adoration of her students.

Ms. Wasson shares ideas that are keen, clearly communicated and valued. She tries thing out, provides succinct analysis, by core subject sometimes, and then helps a teacher or student learn to use the resource. She cooperatively analyzes and reports the best qualities and limitations of curriculum from online sources, district recommendations, and peer discoveries.

The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Conejo Valley Unified School District congratulate Ms. Wasson as the December 2019 Teacher of the Month!
